Ralph Booth lives in Southampton with his wife Suzanne. He is a consultant in the telecoms industry.

Ralph makes the most of his long commute to London by reading the works of James Patterson, Jeffrey Deaver and in particular, Ian Rankin. Outside of work he is a season ticket holder at Reading FC, the best lasagne maker on the South Coast, and a keen traveller, with his favourite city being New York
